• On the goal, Ciara Girouard sent the ball to Boehm four yards out and shot to the left post for the tally.
NOTABLES
• Hanna Zarrilli made her first start as a Hoosier. The sophomore aided the back line as the Wildcats were shutout in the second half.
• On her goal, Maddie Boehm became the eighth unique goal scorer for Indiana and the first true freshman with a goal in 2018.
• Ciara Girouard's assist to Boehm was her 27th point (12G-3A), the most of any active Hoosier.
• With two shots against the Wildcats, Kelsey Giese brings her career shot total to 90 (T-14th IU history).
QUOTABLES
"It was nice to see our team step up. I think our defense really made some great tackles today. We had a lot of different upper classmen step up and then our freshman score goals. Hard fought game by our team and again we just let up a couple of early mistakes and it was great to see the team fight back in the second half."
— Head Coach Amanda Janney Misselhorn
"I think she did a great job in making something happen for us. That's the sparks we need off the bench. Good hard fought goal where she just really used her strength to push that ball in. She's been working hard so it's nice to see her finish."
—Head Coach Amanda Janney Misselhorn, on Maddie Boehm
